The Vision

Hi! My name is Sandy, and I’m the host of The Radical Root. This podcast was birthed from a desire to see believers established on a firm foundation, aligned with the Chief Cornerstone, Jesus.

A building is only as strong as its foundation. I think most of us know this about buildings, but it’s also true about our spiritual walk. Throughout the years in my walk with Christ, I’ve witnessed both laity and leaders stumble, most often because they haven’t fully grasped foundational principles.

Bio

For more than 30 years, I’ve had the joy and privilege of teaching in elementary and middle school classrooms, leading children’s and youth ministries, facilitating adult discipleship ministry, and training teams in the workplace. I hold a Bachelor of Science Degree in Elementary Education and feel grateful every day for the gift of learning. I am currently enrolled at the Israel Institute of Biblical Studies earning my Certificate of Advanced Biblical Hebrew and Prophecy. My husband, Pratt Ray, and I call Corpus Christi, TX home, and we’re blessed with two wonderful sons, our daughter, and a lovely daughter-in-law.
